The company was founded in 1989 by Jean-Guy Côté, who was himself a passionate fly angler. His innovative approach to thread manufacturing quickly made UNI Products popular among anglers worldwide.
UNI Products offers a wide range of materials, including UNI-Thread, UNI-Floss, UNI-Stretch, and many others. These products are exported to more than 30 countries and distributed by 80 partners. Thanks to a unique waxing method, UNI threads provide excellent grip and ease of use when tying flies.
After the founder's passing in 2006, the company was taken over by Martin and Sylvain Lépine, who continue the tradition of producing top-quality materials, providing excellent support for fly anglers around the world.
